Saturday Niche Edit: Chic Bath Mats
When I was a child, our bathroom was completely covered in shag pile wall to wall carpet, including the bath panel. This didn’t stop my mum from also adding a matching bath and loo mat combo, meaning that there was no chance whatsoever that you would ever get chilly feet. Nowadays, I am pretty sure that pretty much NO ONE has wall to wall shag pile as a bathroom floor covering and loo mats are, in my mind, CARNAGE from a hygiene perspective (this may be only my view as I note they are still available to buy) but bath mats are still an accessory of choice.
